They look sweet, a little too pricey for me though.

Yes I have always loved metaltech offerings, just a little on the $$ side though

Oh didn;t see the note
Hopefully they'll build them. I'm also waiting on a 2 door and these look like a great option!

Damn no 2 door option
We are working on the 2D right now. The key thing is getting proper bolt on, no drilling mounting to the frame. The 4D ones we have been testing for the past, well almost 9 months! Ran Moab on the protos on our Cyber School bus 21'. We have the production ones on our Cactus Gray 22' and they are built for hare and long use!

Cost wise, we focused on performance to value. Using US made steel, in 3/16" and 1/4" as well as 1.75" DOM-SRA tubing we give the sliders the bones for hard long term use. The custom made hardware allows the full bolt on application. All wrapped up being fully built in house here in the USA by our own welders. When it comes to sliders and what Metal-tech 4x4 expects them to do, we build them the same way we want them on our own trucks. Built right, built strong.

Out of stock and $1900 delivered I would buy but too high. They look good and I am sure quality product.

Mark Hawley the owner here, great feedback thank you.

I know the thread is "In stock", they where when posted. We are building more right now. When word got out how they are real frame mounted sliders, not to the body, had a bit of a run on them. More are coming. We actually build these right here in house, in the USA.

Price: performance and quality were the driving factors in building them, not low price point. If we went light duty body mounted and drop the steel thickness we could drop the price by a 1/3. However for my $80k Bronco... $500 more for real proper built sliders it's why we build them the way we do.

I am not opposed to making light duty body mounted "sliders" (I put that in parenthesis since I have always felt real sliders go to the frame) at some point. But for now it's protection from the frame out and built the only way we know how too. For real use!

Thanks Mark I appreciate your feedback. Good quality and made in USA you cannot beat that! I am Midwest guy and only get to the rocks a week or two a year so budget does come in to play with the limited use of my sliders. Thanks for the response once again and good luck with Metal-tech and keep making quality products!

Ran Metal Tech stuff (bumper, sliders, etc) on my FJ when I lived in Washington and it was SOLID. Plus the team there stands by their product... would (and will) buy without hesitation...
