Metra Launches New Ford Bronco Products at SEMA 2022

“At the SEMA Show next month Metra will unveil accessories including rear speaker pods that allow installers to easily upgrade the 4-inch factory rear pods to larger 6.5- or 6.75-inch speakers.”

The following products are designed to fit the Ford Bronco for model years 2021 and up:

• Roof Lightbar Bracket for 50″- 52″ Heise LED lightbar
• Roof Trac Bracket for Heise LED cube lights, driving lights, or a lightbar
• Bumper Lightbar Bracket for 42″ Heise LED lightbar
• Fog Light Bracket for installing Heise LED fog lights within the front bumper
• Dash-Mount Tweeter Plate for installation of 2.5″ dash speakers
• Speaker Harness for left and right dash (non-B&O), center (B&O), or rear pod speakers
• Speaker Harness for front kick panel speakers
• Kick Panel Speaker Adapter Plate for installation of 6.5″ to 6.75″ kick panel speakers
• Rear Speaker Pods to upgrade the 4″ factory rear pods to 6.5” or 6.75” speakers

Additionally a new rear view mirror T-harness is available for 2012-2022 Fords, including the new Bronco to connect a DVR, radar detector, security camera, aftermarket auto-dimming rear view mirror, or other devices

MTI has been making them for awhile now. Pricey though. Hopefully these are cheaper.

Metra stuff is usually priced decently, so hopefully these are too.

That’s a first to the market, no one else is making these and we will charge wtf we want kinda price. Ridiculous for some thin plastic. Can’t wait for the aftermarket companies to catch up and bring down prices.

It will be interesting to see the size of the rear pods compared to the factory pieces. The anesthetic isn't too bad; I like the more understated look compared to some of the Jeep/marine pods from companies like DS18. If they're not too bulky and/or grossly expensive I'd consider giving them a shot.
