I love them. I’m in south Florida. No sweat for me. Some of these posters are full of it!

I think they're more comfortable than the seats in my base but I haven't had it in the summer yet

As with any seats (even cloth) you need to avoid parking where the seats are in direct sunlight here in the summer, or at least use a windshield shade. The dark color makes MGV a bit hotter, but even cloth sucks to sit on when it's 112 out and the seats are baking in the sun.
You are not a real Arizonan until you have branded yourself with your seat belt buckle in August.

First thing I bought with my Ford Pass Points was the windscreen shade.

No issue. They did well this past 26 months.

Bronco is my daily driver. I have the MGV. In retrospect, leather would’ve been better for me. Sound deadening of carpet plus the leather seems to breath a bit better in the heat. Not to mention I’ve heard the leather has the adjustable headrest, and I really don’t like the headrest angle (never even thought of a headrest until
This vehicle).

if you’re beating this thing up, MGV is probably the way to go, but for a daily driver,I vote leather as the superior option.

To be honest, I’ve been a huge fan the past 16 months…but, this pisses me off.

just checked mine. The plastic below that needs to be smoothed over. Has a sharp edge. Compressing seat into the sharp edge while sliding out may have caused that.

Nah, looks like just wear from entering and (mostly) exiting. Even with STIRRUPS. Pretty disappointing. I’m not that big of a guy either.

That’s the plan. I have to go in for the wiper fluid pump, driveshaft boot, child safety locks…fun part is hiding all the mods first 😝

Seems like a defect. You talk to Ford about that? How old is the Bronco?

Ive had MGV in my Badlands here in AZ for about 16 months now and they still look absolutely brand new after about 10K miles.

I’m going to bring it in for service. Need to see if/when I can get it. I’m at about 17k. Still shouldn’t happen so soon.

Thanks all for the replies. Picked up a Badlands yesterday and I like the seats. Very much like the active x the called it in the Mavericks. My daughter pointed out sweat and such gets into cloth seats forever. I recall my last black cloth seat vehicle you could see sweat stains and almost a salt ring around edge. So I’m happy. Might just go back to what I did when younger if needed. Old T-shirt over the back and a towel on seat bottom.
Can't tell you how much I cringe watching people jump into their car with cloth seats after exiting the gym. 🤮 Put a towel down or something.
