Good afternoon everyone, I own a ‘21 4-door with a hard top. Manufacture date approx Nov 21. The front driver side panel is leaking water when it rains and it drips in the car onto the steering wheel and visor. I have been reading threads hoping for a solution. I took it to a ford dealer who replaced the weatherstrip in the body (not the top- he wouldn’t listen to me and knew the answer before I could explain) it still leaks. Worst of all they chipped the paint down to the primer in several spots when removing the old stripping. That said, It still leaks. I was told by the dealership that ford will not replace the 2.0 version. When I picked it up I ran it in the car wash to see if it leaked and it didn’t. So I though it was good. It rained last night and I have water inside once again. Now I’m stuck with a leaking top and paint chips. Any news on what ford is doing to fix the top? I’m so bummed I’m thinking of selling. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks I’m advance.

Whoever told you this was simply incorrect. MIC 2.0 is fully covered and warrantable under your factory warranty if found to be defective. I ordered one last week for a 2022.

Depends on what is wrong with yours. I understand that you had a bad experience (and your dealer should probably be fixing your paint), but this is going to require that someone figure out where the water is entering & fix it.

I get your frustration, but selling your Bronco over one problem might be a little premature.

I had a similar situation with my 2021 2-door. There was a very small leak in the place you described as well as one at the back of the passenger side panel where it meets up with the rear roof section. My dealer replaced the weatherstripping (I think it was on the panels themselves, but not 100% sure) and it took care of it. Apparently there is a Ford Service Bulletin on this, so your dealer should be able to find the info easily.
Something that you might want to ask about is if there is a leak specialist. I know this sounds crazy, but when my dealer set up the initial service appointment, they wanted it on a certain day because the leak specialist would be at their dealership on that day. My dealer has been very honest with me all along so I have no reason to doubt that there is a specialist. Whether it's a Ford tech that moves between dealers or my dealer's own resource person, I'm not sure.
Now, the info the dealer gave you about Ford not replacing the 2.0 top is completely wrong. The back 1/2 of my roof has the honeycombing showing through on the top of it. Ford has approved the replacement and we are waiting for the top to be delivered. Not sure when that will be, but they will definitely replace these if there is an issue. I had to take a bunch of pictures and then the dealer had to take it from there with Ford.
Good luck.

Called my dealer this morning and they did not see any bulletins for the hard top other than one for a squeak at the rear. If anyone finds something, let me know. My issue is the wind noise coming from the sides...thinking about stuffing a towel up there for the time being.

I have the same wind noise, so I know what you're talking about. I'm hoping that when they replace the rear section of the top, it will fix this. To me, it sounds like it is coming from around the side window in the rear 1/2 of the roof, not from the seal between the front roof panels and the rear. I could definitely be wrong, but that's where we've narrowed the noise down to.
I'm not sure what the specific bulletin/alert is for the leaking issue. I just know that my dealer said that they had just gotten this communication when they had my Bronco there. This was in about mid March and the remedy that they were given was to replace the seals. It worked. I hope the approximate date of when my dealer said they got this notice will help track this down for you.
