Anyone else noticing a mix of 1.0 and 2.0 MIC hardtop pieces?

I picked my FE 4dr on 10/8/21 and noticed today, Ford might be combining MIC 1.0’s with MIC 2.0’s…mix and matching the two. My front panels and rear shell seem to be MIC 1.0’s, while my center section seems to be the 2.0. The 1.0’s seem to have a rougher texture, the edges are more sharp, and the honeycomb pattern is more noticeable. The 2.0 center panel has edges that are more rounded, smoother texture, but still has some honeycomb showing.

It doesn’t look good that’s for sure. I’d bring it to the dealers attention.

I wouldn't be happy if I spent 40k+ and received this...I would be very disappointed to say the least. Definitely looks like a different process was used on both of those pieces.

Well some B6G member received two different sets of seats in his Bronco, so this mixing and matching of roof top panels seems like it's feasible.

I have wondered this myself because my top is exactly like yours. The front two panels and the middle section look good. The back piece looks like a 1.0 around the areas of the roof racks and also the front edges of the windows.

Well, I know I am a pistol, but you all need to stand up and reject this. Do not pay 45 to 60 grand for a new vehicle and accept faulty components like this.

I understand this is not the dealers fault, but they are your advocates to get these replaced, so get them to take action!

Out of interest, were you dirt mountain detainees? Or fresh builds...

I just picked up a First Edition this weekend it’s exactly the same way. Noted to the dealer they said they will contact Ford.
