@BlueBronco1969 any chance you have some roundabout measurements for the MIC top? Getting some pricing on wrapping mine but cannot seem to locate measurements. TYIA!

How is it holding up? Any new photos? Thanks.I can’t say with any certainty from memory, but I think the installer ordered 9 yards of the 3M wrap so we would be sure to have enough for roll bars.
It’s holding up nicely by the way! Texas summer will provide next test.

I bet the heat is better for it then the cold? It looks so rad. If I didn't have a white Bronco...It’s doing just fine. Next big test will be Texas summer. Here’s a picture from last week road trip to LBK.
I know this is an ancient thread, but just wondering how this has held up. I'm in San Antonio frequently and probably would go this route if I ever actually get my vehicle. It's been about as bad a summer in Texas as you can get, so it's certainly been tested. It’s doing just fine. Next big test will be Texas summer. Here’s a picture from last week road trip to LBK.
Thanks! Still looks fantastic! No bubbles, no peeling, no nothing! Wrapping was a hyper great decision. Just get it done someplace reputable.Just curious how the wrap held up over summer etc. going to be wrapping my wife’s Oxford White OBX hard top as soon as it arrives at the dealership. Your bills looks amazing by the way!
I also think, given the MIC issues, a wrap that could be removed (so the top can be warrantied) would be much smarter than painting (which would likely void any warranty). That’s great news!! I like the idea of the wrap better than paint. Much less chance of damaging while removing and installing the roof panels, and if there is damage it is a lot less money to replace the wrap than repaint!!

Phase 1 Customizations: First Edition Area 51 - White Grille, Wheels, Mirrors, Stripes, Wrapped MIC Top
After much debate over whether it will work, I proceeded with white vinyl wrap of the MIC 2.0 Bronco top.
Installer: SideAfects San Antonio, TX
https://www.sideafects.com/
Material: 3M 2080 Gloss White Vinyl
Type 94 quick tack adhesive/bond.
For purposes of safety and due to the debate, we started with only one panel:
With that done, we put it thru the ringer: 350 mile road trip, dirt/dusty roads, cold front, 25 degree temperature change and full service car wash (foamy mops, high pressure/low pressure water). The results held and so we proceeded:
As an added bonus, we ordered a couple of extra yards and wrapped the roll cage: this to try and achieve some of the earliest Ford promotional photos:
If there is ONE spot I am worried about, it’s the middle of the windshield frame: this speaks more to the quality of the MIC top as there is a VERY uneven edge there that the wrap exposes when white on black. Might need to come up with a solution for that. This spot will take a ton of wind and elements.
Otherwise, very happy with the outcome. She is a good match for her 1969 counterpart in my profile photo.
Happy to answer questions for others who want to go down the road. Installer is confident it will hold. Advised to hit with Maguire’s spray wax four times per year to maintain and protect.
If it doesn’t hold, or I have issues - I will update. Hope the information is helpful.
