MIC top version 2 installed

Good news had my Mic top Mach 2 installed today. Interior finish is slightly improved still not as nice as my LL Bean Old Town canoe but better. Exterior edges are still a little rough.

Bad news…

passenger latch will not fully lock.

Passenger (bronco knoll) approx 3.5

driver approx 3 even (b pillar)

All other latches seem to be the same 3.5” except the driver. Passenger would just need to swing in opposite direction.

Not sure if latches came pre installed from factory? Hopefully the waste company has not picked up yet as may need to do some dumpster diving tomorrow morning for old parts. Need to go to dealer as tech left impact gun on floor in back seat anyway.

There is a barcode in the back passenger corner of mine. I will have to see if there is a date on it

Yes mine has a sticker with a date. Primer applied on 11/15/2021. Wonder if mine is V1 or v2.

Currently waiting on warranty replacement for V2. @Ford Motor Company does making me wait 4 months for poor quality mean I have to wait another 4 months for the next one?

I bet they moved them over just moved one (or two, if the orientation is swapped) to the wrong spot. I can recheck mine later today (stuck in meetings for a few hours). The second row back latches look like they would work with the shorter ones even though they should be the longer ones -- maybe one of those? Or, there's another Bronco at your dealer with the opposite issue as yours.

They started producing V2 in late September

I think it was a little earlier. My Dirt Mountain escapee has a primer date of September 3. I believe some posted late August dates.
