I've read through many threads on this topic and I know there's plenty of information on poke/offset... still thought it would be easier to ask here:
1. I want to add a set of polished Mickey Thompson Classic III's to my Basesquatch.
2. Have to go 17" given the stock SAS wheels are that size and I want to use the stock tires on whatever wheel upgrade I do.
3. Looks like the only option on the Mickey III's for 17", 6x5.5 bolt pattern is a -12 offset... IS THIS TOO MUCH POKE (on SAS fenders)? HOW MUCH POKE IS IT?
Mickey Thompson | Classic III™ (mickeythompsontires.com)
4. Alternative wheels include:
- Pro Comp Series 69. Offset is -24... Is this more poke or less?
69 Series Vintage, 16x10 Wheel with 6 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern - Polished - 1069-6183 - Pro Comp (procompusa.com)
- American Racing Baja. These appear to offer both -12 and 0mm offest... Is this (0mm) more or less poke?
BAJA | American Racing
If I want to avoid poke, do that require 0mm offset? Any other retro wheels that offer this offset in the 17". I like the first two, but the holes on the American Racing baja wheels are too small
...thanks,
