I spoke with the rep who is handling my reservation. As covered here previously, the sales reps don't know 1/10 as much as posters here about the product and he has no information from Ford on when orders can be entered. I was shocked to hear that Mike Fitzpatrick here in Newnan has 118 reservations. I could not believe he actually told me he has not been studying up on the Bronco, features, models, etc. Just dumb.

Doesn’t seem like these car dealerships hire people with college degrees for the most part. :/ That one guy didn’t even know how to send out a mass email properly. Must not be a very high paying job. Of course a lot of it depends on commission.

Thats a lot of reservations
I think the more proactive of them will get the most out of this event. The more you put in, the more you get out.

But to many of these dealers, this is just another year, another vehicle to sell (that will sell just fine on its own). I don't blame the dealers for being blasé about the Bronco launch, but I do know if I owned one of these dealerships I'd have some designated Bronco specialists!

He’s telling the truth about ford not letting them know when we can place orders my dealer has said the same thing and from what has been posted on the forums orders are being delayed until January if not longer cause of COVID 19

I'm not surprised at all. While we who post here and devour every Bronco-related scrap of news are clearly enthusiasts who are deeply engaged... to some people this may just be their job.

I'm being told Cactus Gray is late availability from the dealer. Then a few local dealers I have called, trying to negotiate the price in vain, told me i would lose my place in line with my reservation if I switched.

Unless i am very mistaken, I am getting so much incorrect information from dealers.

That is where I get my F350 serviced and the service department is pure chaos. They do not do reservations, not even for recalls. Instead they throw random days out there when it should be done and you can call back and check. Nice people, but the entire operation is run poorly. Its why I had no problem moving my reservation over to Granger. That said they are 5 minutes from my house, so its why I still use them. Yes I am lazy

About to sell? With floor models for sale not expected to hit dealerships until late next year at the earliest, what does an average salesman need to know today? They have a full lineup of vehicles to support and immediate sales goals to meet.

All due respect, but your $100, refundable and transferable reservation is not likely a huge priority for most dealerships. Yes, there are some dealerships, led by Granger, that have made a commitment to their reservation holders. I switched to one of them and encourage others to switch also. But putting this guy on blast on the internet because he doesn't have deep product knowledge about something he's not even selling yet seems out-of-line to me. He has a living to make and this is a piss-poor reason to attack it.

Are they adding any markups ? I don't live too far from that dealership but my reservation is at Steven's Auto .

My father has bought all of his recent F250s and 350s here. He trades every year and this dealership always treats him right. I have a reservation here as well but haven't decided where I am going to officially place my order yet.
