Used mine to air back up all four from 15 PSI and it only used 1.25 batteries. Excellent machine.

I just tried out the bigger Milwaukee air compressor
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...-Quiet-Compressor-Tool-Only-2840-20/312244443

It does take up more space. It does not automatically go to a target pressure, it's not "set it and forget it"

WIth a high volume inflator hose/pressure gauge, and a short bit of self-coiling hose that stashes nicely in the handle.... I just filled up all 4 35x12.5 tires from 18 to 32 in about 6 minutes flat and with a 12AH battery didn't even come off a bar.

You can pre-load the air tank, and a fully charged air tank filled one tire up pretty well and made some headway into the second before the compressor kicked on. It's very quiet. And it can run most pneumatic tools out on the road.

It's not perfect, I wouldn't say that - the biggest drawback is just the size. But I am happy I spent my money here instead of an underhood installation. That and I needed it to run a nail gun for some home improvement work - so great excuse to double dip. Now I just need an impact to go with it.

I have the 2848-20 and am happy with it. Besides the tires I use it for pressuring the spray bottles I use for detailing my vehicles which have Schraeder valves as well as pump handles. Doesn't take too many pumping exercises to make you appreciate being able to just zap the bottle to pressure in seconds instead. I've found battery life between the need to recharge well beyond what my expectations were and with 2 batteries (M18 Red Lithium XC 5.0) I can't see myself being out of power before having the opportunity to recharge. If I was camping or had family the storage might be more of an issue and would probably tip me towards an underhood ARB-type solution (which is most likely my long term path anyway) but in the interim this is easier, cheaper and more versatile for *me*.

Without bead locks, how low can you air down your tires and not have issues breaking the bead? I’ve looked on other threads and can’t seem to find an answer. Planning to purchase Sasquatch package just don’t know if I need bead locks or not. Appreciate any advice.

Here’s a great article on the topic…says “With factory wheels and non-beadlock off-road wheels, you can safely lower tire pressure to roughly 12-20 psi without worrying about the tire bead dislodging from the wheel.” The original Sasquatch wheels are ‘bead lock capable’ so you’d still need to add the Ford bead lock kit which cautions “ Note: Bead lock configuration is for off-road use only”

Good info and good read, thank you. Not going to add the bead lock kit and save some money for another mod.

I was flipping between the 2 and 3 battery package deal but with w/ the 2 since I already have a ton of M18 batteries.
