Yesterday I got to go to the off road marketing drive at Grays Harbor ORV near Seattle.
Great folks staffing The event. I was able to meet one of our own @Ourbroncolife and he was kind enough to let me bend his ear before the safety brief and I got to try out a hard top and leather seat match to my equipment and be certain I can fit with a power seat and MIC top
A quick chalk talk and reminder to be careful with our thumbs and we were off.
I was able to drive a carbonized gray Badlands with a 2.3 L and all of the hero mode switches that are going to come on my 2.7 L engine Badlands due in a couple weeks. This one was a soft top.
Dave was my right hand man guiding me through the course everything was great until about 2/3 of the way through when I got an ABS fault and it turned off all goat modes and override switches. We were able to finish out the course without any of the aids in 4L. Some of the extra demonstration gyroscope indication of angles for pitch and roll to say how far your nose is up or how tilted over you are didnāt end up working after that. Even still, we didnāt get stuck and we were able to splash through the mud and slush.
Iām hoping the errors will clear with a cleanup of the brakes. Learned some and was super impressed by the basic 33ā tires going over all terrain
Heading back towards Olympia I passed in area 51 soft top on the side of the road with Washington plates Iām wondering if thatās one of yāall.
Re-wrote for clarity on pics.
