Not really! my 08 4dr. Jeep Rubicon has a 4" lift and running 37's for years and very roadable and does rock buggy stuff when I want. There is the right combo out there, thats what Ia am looking for. ThxYou’re asking for a unicorn bud
And the JL I had 3yr ago ran 40s with no problem after the upgrades were said and done. It’s a completely different platform. Not really! my 08 4dr. have you tested on trails for clearance during flex and such ? looks good.no lift is about as minimum as you can get. Lift does not create clearance. that being said lift does other things like improving brakeover, approach and departure angles.
here is mine. 37x12.5r17 mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT's which are about as true 37's as you can get. I had rubbing on the front crashbar mount so I used the Big tire clearance kit and now am good to go.

we’ll! I stand corrected. Guess I’ll keep the 35’s and do the serious wheelin in the J/kAnd the JL I had 3yr ago ran 40s with no problem after the upgrades were said and done. It’s a completely different platform.
even the funhaver running the latest preproduction parts rubs on 37s
only way to have it functional off road (meaning no rubbing on compression) and on is to almost completely gut the front suspension and wheel well.
youll need about 4.75” of BS, the JKS max clearance kit, high-caster heim UCAs, maybe cut the rock rails if you have it, delete the flares, and cut about 3/4” off the fender. Alternatively, you could figure out a way to shorten the compression stroke of whatever shocks you’re running in the front and skip the last step. Keep in mind with changing the UCAs, you’re gonna make it less functional on the road unless you’re a fan of feeling every single tiny bump on the road and harder steering.
Or go with a belletech/RC drop bracket lift.
I’ve never seen a bronco wheel with 37s zero rubbing yet.
Im curious if these will work with no liftI would agree with the above post and add 37x11.50 tires will also fit better with stock wheels than the 12.50 or 13.50.
My plan to a tee when Ford decides to build my 2DR V-6 and ADV finally releases the 2DR 5 inchers.![]()
Well I don't know how I missed this but yes I've wheeled it and there is no rubbing what so ever.have you tested on trails for clearance during flex and such ? looks good.
I have the same tires just put on, the Mickey Thompsons Baja Boss, but I went with the A/T's for less road noise as I don't do a lot of "hard off-roading". I did do a 2" Zone Lift to adjust the stance. The only time I get slight rubbing is full lock reverse out of my driveway. I thought with the Sasquatch the crash bars were deleted, so I don't think I'm rubbing on those since mine is Sasquatch. I looked at seems to have plenty of clearance, but haven't really done a full test to view.no lift is about as minimum as you can get. Looks awesome!! I removed the mount the crash-bars go into. If you’ve heard it rub a couple of times just look around the paint rubs off pretty quick and you will see.I have the same tires just put on, the Mickey Thompsons Baja Boss, but I went with the A/T's for less road noise as I don't do a lot of "hard off-roading". Ah got it, will check for that then, thanks for feedback! Is removing the mount for crash-bars pretty simple? I think I saw in a thread you can use a reciprocating saw to remove them?Looks awesome!!
