A couple weeks ago, I finally got around to painting the rest of the MC diff cover. It's not going to win any awards, but it's something different
Last weekend, on my 3 day holiday weekend, I removed the DV8 diff skid plate/OEM diff cover and installed the Metalcloak diff cover, along with the Metalcloak Diff Skid Plate.
I used almost 2 quarts of this stuff.
Metalcloak forgot to weld the nuts onto the insides on the diff skid plate... I've talked to them since this and they're going to ship me another one, but I went to Lowe's and picked up long bolts/nuts to at least get this thing installed!
I like it, it rattled like a mofo, but I squirted grey RTV in all the gaps and it hasn't rattled since, LOL!
