Is the front end of your Bronco sitting lower than the rear because of your bumper and winch? If so, any plans to update the front suspension to get it to sit flat? or do you like the lean?
This is what it looked like when I left work this afternoon, not as bad, but still a little rake... It could be the fender flares I installed? I'm not sure... I wish it had the Heritage actual fenders instead of these rounded ones...

So, not really anything new going on with our Bronco's lately. MC sent me a pair of front lift spacers, which are 9/16" shorter than the rears, to see if that'll do anything about the hideous rake my Bronco has in the rear... I have a feeling it's the 100+ pounds of weight of front bumper honestly, that's actually pulling down the front end...

It's been awhile since I worked on the HE Wiki but all the part numbers for the fenders and flares are listed:

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/he-heritage-edition-wiki.91504/
Thanks, but I'm not buying/painting HE fenders/quarters, just to make mine look more like a Heritage, LOL!

It's not the flares that are causing the rake, it's the shitty MC lift. Actually, it may be a combo of the flares and lift... The rear flares actually cover up the original fender bump/line on the quarters, whereas the front flares have part of the original fender bump showing... I have fender flare deletes that I've been debating on installing?

Here's a pic of it without the lift and it looks level.

I can, however, use that Wiki for my wife's HE though ;)

I finally got around to installing these few front end parts that I've had for 6ish months!

One pic has it all:
Ford Bronco Minty, 2dr Badlands on 37's, My "Heritage" Build Thread! IMG_20250207_185807770_HDR

LoD Bull Bar
WARN Black Fairlead
Mountains 2 Metal Camera Relocation kit
DV8 Grey Shackles
Factor55 Black Fatlink Winch Hook

I still have a few more things to install on it, which will probably get installed in a couple of months?

So, earlier today, I was talking with Will at Metalcloak about the awful rake on my Bronco. Right now, after driving home from work, the measurement from the top of the front tire, to the bottom of the fender flare is 6" and the same point of measurement on the rear is 9"! The rear lift spacer MC provides is almost 2" tall...

We have figured out that it's a combination of my 100lb LoD front bumper, plus accessories on it, plus my 50-60lb WARN winch... It's on stock Bad Land Sasquatch springs and he said the spring rate must be awful for it to droop that much?

So, if I take that rear spacer out completely, he said it should level it out better and only be maybe an inch taller in the rear over the front? He said it wouldn't affect off-road capabilities. Yea, I won't have as much flexing in the rear, but most of it has just been me playing around on stuff, but just driving offroad, I haven't benefited from having all the rear flex...

He said the Fox 2.5 adjustable coilovers would cost me about $5000.... That's insane, just for a nicer on-road riding experience... I told him I would take the rear spacers out and leave the front ones in and see what it looked like afterwards? Since the rear spacers is easier to install/remove, I'll try this out first before I spend a fortune on coilovers...

I did haul about 800lbs of sand over the weekend and it leveled the rear out and I really liked the way it looked!

Whenever these tires/wheels go bad, I'm probably going to run 35's and switch to some polished 8 hole wheels, like my OBS F-150 has on it!

Maybe by that time, coilovers will be more affordable? Who knows?

The new front end parts look great. Hopefully you can get the gap problem worked out.

Oh, the front stuff I installed over a month ago, on the Bronco? Thanks. No, I haven't gotten the rear figured out yet... I think Metalcloaks' excuse is BS honestly, there's noway that 150ish pounds on the front end would pull the front springs down 2".... I'm 250lbs and can barely make the front end "bounce" when I jump on it.... It moves, like something with good suspension does though...

So, Sunday, I got fed up with the rear of the Bronco being so much higher than the front... I measured it a few weeks ago and the fender gap in the front was 6" and 9" in the rear... I filled the Bronco up Sunday morning and the rear dropped an inch, but it was still 2" taller than the front...

So, MC sent me another pair of 1 9/16th inch front coil pucks/spacers months ago, so I finally removed the 2 1/8th inch spacers on the rear and installed the shorter ones Sunday.

I removed the KBD Classic Flares and this is what the shorter rear puck/spacer sits at now. I drove it to work a couple of days and now the front gap is 5 3/4" and the rear gap is 7 3/8". So, that roughly dropped it 1 5/8"?
Ford Bronco Minty, 2dr Badlands on 37's, My "Heritage" Build Thread! IMG_20250406_172746887_HDR

I also finally lowered my spare tire! I couldn't see anything out of the rear view mirror, except the top half of the spare for almost a year, LOL! I put the grey D-rings in the rear (they were in the front) and I removed the LED bumper lights, that I never hooked up, but luckily had the little fill pieces still... :)
Ford Bronco Minty, 2dr Badlands on 37's, My "Heritage" Build Thread! IMG_20250406_191507886_HDR

For some reason, since I lowered the spare, it's now leaning back more...? Looks like I'll have to lift that extremely heavy 37" spare once again soon and adjust the angle?
Ford Bronco Minty, 2dr Badlands on 37's, My "Heritage" Build Thread! IMG_20250406_191544213_HDR

I moved the Black D-rings to the front (they were in the rear), as the front end looks a lot better with everything darker now!

I forgot I had these MC fender deletes, but I found them in the back of my shed Sunday afternoon! I believe I'm going to paint and use these for now!

I like the new more leveled look of the Bronco, but from lots of research/help over the weekend, with the offroading I do, I've decided to ditch the MC spacer lift, the MC UCA's and replace the SAS Bilsteins!

I ordered the 4WP/Procomp Coilovers and UCA's last night!

I also order the Broken Innovation Front Diff Drop! Bad thing with that is, I have to remove the majority of my Undercloak skid plates to install it...

I ordered new aluminum inner fender liners and new trail site deletes (the DeeZee ones are beyond awful, do not buy them)!

I also will have to remove my recovery box and FINALLY install my OEM Tow Pkg kit!

Hopefully, I will get all this installed on my Easter 4 days off weekend? I'll be worn out, but at least it should be finished by then?

New lift parts showed up! I'm going to start working on it this weekend! Looking forward to the new lift, but not looking forward to taking the old one off and installing this new one...

I have to drop all or mostly all of my skid plates, since the SB mounts have to be removed to install the front stuff...

Front diff drop should be here soon too, then I'll have to take it to get a new alignment! I hope this fixes the front droop nose down effect?

Just put those same coilovers on the rear of mine. They are firmer than stock, but feel far more controlled, if that makes sense. Much less body roll. Having only the rears gives me a weird contrast between OEM and aftermarket.

I also have gone slightly different way lifting mine, with a focus on weight. I bought the 315/70R17 Bridgestone Dueler REVO AT/3s which are crazy light at only 84lb with DX4 Recon wheels, and the coilovers are 6 pounds lighter than stock, so I'm at a net +2lb around all 4 corners, or will be, once I install the fronts. Currently looks like an old school muscle car with the ass end so high. 😅

I’m interested to hear how the ProComp shocks work out. I’m headed for an update and looks at all options.
