Thanks for the input guys!

Second.

Also hurry up that pvc side. All that shtuff is going into my intake.
Don't worry! This is one of the top priorities currently!

I'm in for two.. However I like the option for folks to be able to add it on for additional cost. Better safe than sorry. Good to know after what 1k-1.5k miles that little was caught. Double that for 3k and so forth.
NOt to give too much away, BUT an upgrade kit for those who already purchased a PCV setup is something that we're considering as well

Hey Guys!

I wanted to bump this thread up since we're at a point in this project where we'd love your feedback! Our donor vehicle just finished up its first round of preliminary road testing (thanks again @schlava!) and here's what we collected on our dual can setup:

NLT_9574.jpg

NLT_9588.jpg

We recorded about 2.5ml from our PCV side can, with some blowby droplets found in the bottom of the CCV side. From our extensive experience with the EcoBoost engines, we know that both of these collections are only going to increase.

So, the feedback we're looking for - We are going to make a PCV-side catch can kit for sure, but we also wanted to know how many of you would also be interested in a dual can system for your 2.7L Broncos. Let us know in a comment below!

-Nick

We definitely love the sound of that!

Getting these catch cans through development is a top priority! Currently our PCV side kit is moving along much quicker so that will be available ASAP!

We may or may not already be moving pretty quick on our 2.7l intake. I'll have more for you guys on that one soon!

Roger that!

As for the timeline on our dual can set up, right now we're aiming for a presale launch in early spring, and the PCV side only to kick off shortly after the new year. Granted, these are all subject to change, but I'll make sure to keep you guys posted if they do!

For some more info on our single can kit, make sure you head to the Engineering Blog to take a look!

BACK FOR PASTURE – 2021+ FORD BRONCO 2.7L BAFFLED OIL CATCH CAN R&D, PART 2 – PCV-SIDE CONCEPT AND DESIGN

P1277091-scaled.jpg

The Bronco is back, which is basically old news at this point. However, as the hum of excitement subsides for this legend’s return, the buzz is now shifting to the endless possibilities to customize and accessorize this off-roading machine. Naturally, Ford anticipated the owner’s needs to personalize their Broncos, launching the line with a plethora of accessories to appear more adventurous and act the part. However, missing from the catalog was a means of adding a layer of protection against the onslaught of blow-by on the intake tract. Not to worry, though, since we here at Mishimoto wanted to ensure that you had options in that department.
