Hey Guys!

I just wanted to give this thread a bump since we have a few new updates on this kit!

Make sure that you head over to our Engineering Blog to check out the latest on the airbox and the full 2.3L production sample!

WILD BREATH – 2021+ FORD BRONCO 2.3L/2.7L PERFORMANCE INTAKE R&D, PART 4 – AIRBOX PRODUCTION SAMPLE

Compromise is all about finding balance. From the design studio to the streets, these Broncos have had to compromise on a few topics to make them adequate on the pavement and functional once that asphalt runs out. One of the main topics of contention between the punchy 2.3L and 2.7L workhorse is the airbox for both intake systems. While both parties have reached an agreement, for now, some renegotiation is in order, and we’re here to mediate.

Looking back to our first post, Ford opted to share the intake system’s airbox between the four and six-cylinder powerplant options. While this decision slimmed production costs, it also squandered both engines’ potential. If there’s an EcoBoost badge on a Ford, it’s almost guaranteed that enthusiasts will demand more boost from the system. That extra pressure will be in vain, though, since this airbox is one of the gatekeepers of power. Until now, that is. Continue Reading...

WILD BREATH – 2021+ FORD BRONCO 2.3L PERFORMANCE INTAKE KIT R&D, PART 5 – 2.3L PRODUCTION SAMPLE

There’s a beauty in simplicity, especially in the automotive realm. In an age where cars practically pilot themselves, the lack of features and frills puts some character back into the driving experience. Our 2.3L Bronco is a prime example of this. Sporting almost no options from the factory other than standard equipment, this baby Bronco left enough of an impression on us here that it’s one of the few vehicles in Mishimoto history to be given a name. Pedro looks great in steel wheels, but this plucky off-roader is still a blank canvas for plenty more modification.

Our intake followed a similar design path based on the simplicity of this base Bronco’s accouterments. On the surface, Pedro might look run-of-the-mill, but that’s only skin deep. The 2.3L under the hood is packing plenty of high-tech features, specifically regarding emissions reduction. So, to keep the ecosystem in the engine bay happy, along with the one here on planet Earth, this intake tag teams with the factory emissions systems. Continue Reading...

As always, don't hesitate to reach out with any questions that you might have!

Hey Guys!

Just wanted to bump this thread up with the latest update on our intake kit! Make sure that you head over to our Engineering Blog for more info!

Wild Breath – 2021+ Ford Bronco 2.3L Performance Air Intake, Part 7 – 2.3L Testing Results

NLT_9763.jpg

Deep breaths. The slow, methodical inhale and exhale helps us land-dwelling mammals find a sense of calm focus. Breathe in….breathe out. Zen. Breathing deep has parallel effects on our horse-themed adventure machines. Where the additional air in our lungs enhances our mood and focus, these fuel-burning Broncos are dead set on a longer stride and quicker gallop. So far, we’ve spent months training our 2.3L powered Bronco on its new breathing exercises, and now the time has come to see if they’ve paid off. Continue Reading...
This kit is also now on presale, so make sure that you grab yours while the special pricing lasts!

Hey gang!

I just wanted to give this thread a quick bump! Our presale might have just started, but it won't be around for long, so just a quick reminder to grab yours while the special pricing lasts.

Also, in addition to the black border lid, we have two special lid color options that are included with your intake purchase FOR FREE for the duration of the presale 😱 Head over to our website now to add some attitude AND style to your Bronco's engine bay while this offer lasts:

Hey Guys!

Just a quick bump since some of you might have already received your tracking info - We're starting to ship out orders! We're still keeping the presale up for a little while longer, so make sure to grab yours while the pricing lasts!

Also, just as a heads up for those who purchased the dry washable filter option - these filters are slightly delayed so they will not ship right away. I'll be sure to update you guys once they become available!

Thanks,
Nick
