***3/12/2019 Update*** Transfer Case Skid Plate Was Missing, It Was Replaced by Ford Dealership Under Warranty



Ran into this video of a new Ranger missing a skid plate. I know he took deliver pretty early so this is obviously a very early build.

Well If he bought an XLT it doesn't come with a engine cover. And he does appear to have the FX4 front skid plate.

Yeah, I thought the same thing about the engine cover; didn't track his reddit post down to get more info.

Color me skeptical too. Why would it have the bolts put in it with no plate? Possibly removed in transport or while at dealer.......

I honestly don't blame him for questioning the ignition. I saw my first XLT today and I agree it doesn't look finished and seems to have a lot of play.
