True! I actually liked that top a lot and thought it looked really good with Area51. It matches everything else on the vehicle. I have no problem getting that one over a black painted top.
Especially while saving almost $2k. ??

Hi All,

I made the trip out to Moab to check out the Bronco which definitely confirmed my decision to switch from a Wiltrak to a BUILT Badlands. Hope y'all enjoy the photos! IMO the MIC top is not bad at all I will be very happy with it over a painted top.

just curious. Why? I am sure you are asking this for a reason.
For some reason my brain kept plugging in "proximity camera" instead of "proximity sensor" (@5:16 in the video). That's a nice feature, also the rear doors on a four door have it (which my Tacoma does not).

Great shots and all the right details. If you notice, the front axles in that setup are almost flat.... maybe just above flat. That means there is plenty of room for lift without negatively impacting the CV geometry.

So my question. I know the tires on this rig are not the 315s. But it has the RTT and made me wonder. Why under the static roof load on four door when equipped with 315s is 450 lbs load "not available on four door"?

I thought I saw an interview early on where a engineer stated they were messing around with a extra 2" lift (over SAS) and 37" tires by making the A-arms and CV arms longer so the CV joint angle wouldn't be compromised instead of just putting a different coil-over in (like Tacoma's do).

Thats why I love these forums. You guys know your shit. I learned more about axles and suspensions and sway bars than I ever thought I'd care to learn just a few months ago! Lol

This is why you can't install a roof rack on a Squatch. No one knows for sure, but the leading guess is GVWR.

Anyone know the model name and/or model number of the Yakima rooftop tent? Looks like a one person tent, with room left over on the rack for other gear ?

Gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed about this.

It looks like this bar would easily be torn right off, no frame mounting? Just for looks?
