FYI to the 5/1 Long Canyon/Shafer/ Potash guys. Still checking on Shafer trail status & it's still closed. We have been getting a lot of storms out here so not sure if Shafer will open or not. I have posted an alternate route on the spreadsheet incase Shafer is still closed when we are there.

Up Long Canyon, out to Dead Horse Point then out Gemini Bridges.

Getting closer all the time 🤠
I would assume a lot can change in 5+ weeks but good call.

Yep, there are certain trails you don't want to be near in the wet. Anything near Kane Creek comes to mind unless you brought a boat :unsure:

It’s coming up on us quick! Been thinking about pulling the hardtop off and putting the soft top back on, but have held off so far, still winter here, tons of snow, and below freezing temps. Can’t wait to get out of the frozen tundra, and back to balmy Utah weather.

I'm hoping it's super hot there so I can strip her down. It's gotten into the 50s recently, almost top down weather, such a tease.

@Tricky Dick
There might have been a B6G smaller invasion of Moab this past few days.
When you do your Shafer/Potash/White Rim excursion soon, look behind this sign, we left you a small token of love.
Double zip locked bagged and duct taped to the back.

Oh that's right! I forgot I was there today too!

Somebody ducked me tho, so I found a good place to store them when it happens:

Nicely done, but I believe that ASPCA guideline call for the use of soft shackles for this application.

Be fun to run onion creek, then up Rose Garden Hill, then up to Top of the World. Be a long day though.
Head it up & we'll be in. Top of the World is on my trail list for this trip. Might as well wrap this into the package ;) .

Heck all this side bar trail scheming is making that T-shirt more expensive all the time :unsure:
hopefully we'll all get some good friends & contacts out of this trip to head out on our own runs for the future 🤠.

I’m kind of waiting to see what trails the Safari are running and when. Top of the world is a must do trail for me. I’m sure the Safari will be running it, and I’ll probably go then. Be interesting to see if they do incorporate Rose Garden or not. I have not run either trail, but Rose Garden doesn’t look like a cake walk, but definitely doable, and has my interest piqued. I see RR4W has it listed as a 7.
