Any know the purpose of the highlighted openings, e.g., does it need to stay clear for air? I’ve been wondering if you could put lights here and then saw this Raptor inspiration.

So best not to put lights there I guess. Thanks. The intercooler gets air from the opening. The box is the “radar” that sees objects for emergency braking.
i just wanted to say good job asking good questions. A habit many new owners should have before crafting their ideal rigs. I wish I asked more questions about my 3rd Gen Cummins 2500 before modding it, but i’m a bronco owner now and I’ve learned better. Be careful with the “first to market” mods people!!So best not to put lights there I guess. Thanks.
Correct. Needed for airflow and for collision alert, emergency braking, adaptive cruise, etcSo best not to put lights there I guess. Thanks.
