Ok…..So I’ve adjusted my order (4 door base Squatch, 2.7L, soft top), taking off the Modular Bumper, hoping to get picked up with less options. I’ve heard that Modular Bumper is still a constraint of like 36%.

Has anyone dropped the Modular Bumper, then regretted it later? I figure I’ll add the bash plates later and will look at an aftermarket bumper or takeoff Modular Bumper as people look to upgrade later.

Has anyone gotten the Modular Bumper and then regretted not going with stock bumper based on money spent for something not needed?

I will not be rock crawling and will mostly be on trails and such in the North East. I’m not looking to abuse my Bronco, but enjoy creative exploring on trails and such.

Any and all feedback greatly encouraged 😁

I ordered the regular bumper & added a lift & 37s & rubbed like crazy. Luckily I was able to buy a modular from a fellow Bronco chick and I love it.
1) its way less cheaper getting it now than if you were to go ADD or ARB or any other front bumper after the fact
& 2) if you want to order the front modular after delivery, you still can not. I do aftermarket at my dealership & ordering isn't even an option yet. I'm sure it will be in the future, but for now its unavailable.

My driving force is just trying to get my Bronco. With it being constrained, it just seems to make it even harder to get it….So if I can live without it, it seems like a good idea to drop it off my order 🤔

I opted for the standard bumper on my wife’s 4-door Wildtrak and the 2-door Base that we have ordered as my wife’s past Jeep Rubicon had the steel front bumper and it doesn’t look great for long with the paint chipping from stones / road debris and NE Ohio road salt.

I made a few changes to my order today. I added the modular bumper as one of them

If you don't plan on getting a winch. I think the modular bumper is a good deal and functional. If you are looking to add a winch, it makes more since to wait until aftermarket due to the design and winch mount options. I have the modular with my BD and I like it but as I look to add a winch this spring, it is pretty expensive to get a mount and there are not many options.

Going to drop the modular bumper off my order and get the DV8 OEM Plus front bumper.

The $900 price point isn't too bad, for me at least.

Happy as heck with my Mod bumper. Glad I stuck with it.

The removable ends came in really handy when it was time to remove the crash bars for the 35's.

Not a simple task with the standard bumper.

Overall, I just felt it was better to stick with the factory tested, approved and installed option.

All the aftermarket ones that seem halfway decent were $2k plus for bash plates and all.

Stick with the Mod bumper.

I definitely dig the mod bumper. I think it looks the best and has functionality. Plus it looks sweet with the BD fog kit! Plus, Winch solutions are just around the corner, too.

Add it back. I doubt it will remain a constraint, everything is.

I skipped the mod bumper and could not find a good aftermarket and also was lucky enough to buy one from a forum member.

lets face it, its clean looking and opens the world to so many options now and later.

Also, its heavy as well, so its going to take some work installing it (when my 21 comes in).
