Now that I’m not in a blinding rage over the Modular Painted Tops being moved to 2022 (I’m still salty about it though), I re-read the 2022 Announcement and noticed the sub-bullet points.

Under “Black modular painted roof” the sub-bullet says “Contrasting to body color”. Do you guys read that as a Shadow Black Badlands for example, can’t be paired with a Shadow Black Mod Hardtop?

What’s weird is the third bullet, “Body color match modular painted roof”. To me, that completely contradicts the sub-bullet mentioned above.

Let me know what you guys think. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one on planet earth thinking about matching the roof color to the body color.

Well Contrasting means colors that differ from one another. So body color matched tops do no contradict the first bullet as you can opt for a body colored top or a shadow black top to show contrast. I think it means that the shadow black top on shadow black body would fall under body color painted. Hope this helps.
