Amazing job @Philly! The pic showing the cargo area is especially appreciated. (Current Wrangler owner for whom a 2-door is a no go because my dog can’t fit in the back.)

Does anybody know why the interior of the tailgate protrudes into the cab so much?
That's what I was wondering. What's in this:

Keep bouncing back and forth on the Squatch. To Squatch or not to Squatch, that is the question.

I think your measurement was right...

Ford Bronco More 2-Door Bronco Badlands in Cyber Orange (With Measurements) 2dr badlands cargo area (bump)
It's 21 to the base of the door with a step in height of closer to 24" with the door sill, plastic step in, and an inch to actually clear it.

It is the locking mechanism for the tailgate. Wranglers have the same thing.

I keep flip flopping on 2dr v. 4dr. I really like to sleep in the truck when camping, but I prefer the 2 dr for every other reason. Still hoping to take out the back seats, push the passenger seat up, figure out some way to get enough space in the 2dr. Looks like that locking mechanism is going to put a crimp in that plan. It must be sticking out 4 inches or more.

Yeah it’s pretty big, but it’s only on the side with the handle. Also, the roof is pretty long at ~83 inches so a roof top tent is still a decent option.

If you think about it, how often is someone even going to try and open your fuel door? It doesn't bother me that it doesn't lock, but I wouldn't be surprised if future models had a locking one. My Jeep's doesn't have a lock and it has never been a problem.
Says the man who just walked up to a vehicle not his own and opened the fuel door... ?
Just kidding, I agree with you

Good point! But I also tried to pull off a fender flare and lift the top up to see if it was bolted down. :ROFLMAO:

You could say I am not the average person walking down the street...

Wow the 2-door is a decent size! Should be nice and roomy inside.

If I worked there, I would setup "game" cameras, then pop popcorn every morning when I came in and enjoy the show.

The scaling is the best.
I've jumped ship from the Sasquatch and will be going gray 2DR BL with BLACK painted top, 2.7A, 4.7 gearing, 2 inch lift, and will swap tires of for 285/75/17 post sale.
Will be 2022, I know.
