I've not seen the AlphaRex in person, and they've yet to respond to me as a dealer. Soooo can't tell you how they stack up.

Yeah, I am on the fence, what to choose. Any suggestion? The price for Morimoto is better, but I want to understand the quality of both.

In my experience Morimoto makes a better light. Better pattern, better warranty

The other thing I don't like on AlphaRex is that the colors not pure white. IT changes color based on where you stand (annoying to other drivers on the road). Has blue hues and white hues and sometimes purple as well

That video is 2 years old and didn't use the upgraded Morimoto headlights. It's also a sponsored video by Alpharex soooooo yeah.

We're dealers for both Morimoto and Alpharex so I give people my honest opinion on both and what data I've seen first hand.

The Alpharex headlights are not in our hands yet so we can't do any testing. We've sent 2 emails to our Alpharex rep and he's yet to respond (this is over the last few weeks). To put that into perspective... Morimoto/WheelPros actually GAVE us a set of the new XRGB which are basically non-existant right now in the world. We have an exclusive set because we sel so much Bronco stuff they wanted to get them in our hands to play with.

If/when we get the Alphrex we'll also test those out and give you our honest opinions on both and put them side to side.

Is the bottom projector in the headlights the high beams? and will morimoto be releasing another version of the headlights in the future?

Both brands are well established in the automotive communities. I had AlphaRex on my old 4Runner and they were great. Also had a lot of friends with the Morimotos on their old 4Runners and they loved them. I'm ordering the Morimotos as the AlphaRex price point is ridiculous.

Im not a fan of the RGB either if you want the truth. We keep the Amber DRL set on our truck BUT it's nice that the feature IS there.

I like the 4 LED projectors as well over the 4... will the Alpharex have more light with 4 projectors.. MAYBE but i was quite impressed with just how much light came out of these morimotos, especially the high beams.

Yes. The top projector is lows (that's how it is on F150s and Broncos actually from the factory).

There WAS early talk of another XB Headlight from Morimoto... but we've yet to hear anything on that this year. They talked about it last year at SEMA but for whatever reason the XRGB is the only one that was talked about the last year and being released now.
