I think Ford will revive this in a few years when the regular Bronco situation normalizes.

I’d buy one in a second. Loved my Gladiator. Utility, off-road capability and the fun factor. Put a hard tonneau on and it’s like having a big trunk.

Try taking doors and roof off your Ranger.

My Bronco doors have never been however. But if I could afford the 6 figure pricing I would buy a 4 door Defender pickup from previous series as driven by James Bond.

Meanwhile Ineos still has a 4 door pickup in the works

Like the F150 is going into it 20th year on the same design and the Ranger that is hands down the most homely truck on a boxed frame and arguably any truck on the market. I'd gladly give my Bronco up for a bare-bones Half-cab with a Rhino-lined floor, manual transfer case, and a non-turbo charged v8. Hell yeah.
I think Rangers optioned like this look good. Not a fan of the rwd only, but price optioned out is crazy not to buy a full size.

This comment is as blatantly incorrect as it is ignorant.

Yo, Ford - STOP with the 4 door crap. We don't need 4 door trucks. We don't want 4 door trucks.

Take the Bronco 4 door chassis. Put the front half of a Bronco on it - with TWO doors. Put the back wall of the cab a few inches behind the back of the front seats, for a reasonable amount of interior storage room. Build a truck bed with the rear wheelwells centered in the bed sides. Make a bed cover available, and a camper shell.

While you're at it, make sure the truck bed has a REAL tailgate - and build that tailgate so it will fit the Bronco, for those of us who want a REAL tailgate.

Build something that is too long for off-roading and too short of bed to do pick-up work.

That depends on what the pickup work is. You don't need a ton of bed for dump runs, hauling firewood to your campsite, bringing a deer home, etc. What's the bed length on the Maverick and Santa Cruz?

I would love for Ford to build a small, 2-door truck. While a Bronco truck would be cool, it's sadly the complete opposite style of what I'd personally want lol

ford will continue to produce what they sell the most of. 4dr trucks are immensely popular. just like 4dr SUV's. you can still order a 2dr truck if you want one.

I would never buy a two-door truck. I mean I guess if you're single then it works, otherwise you need the full back seats and full access to those seats.

As for a gladiator equivalent, personally I'm looking forward to see what they got. I probably should have bought a gladiator instead of the Bronco but with all the bronco had to offer as such a cheaper price, it was hard to pass up. A Brodiator might be the best solution.
