The Wrangler may be a better extreme rock crawler, but there's more to off-roading than extreme rock crawling.I thought the article was pretty accurate. The 35s arent doing the Bronco any favors on the road vs the 33s on the wrangler. If the Bronco had 33s, it would have tracked better on the road. Bronco is going to ride smoother. The wrangler is a better off-roader with the Solid Front axle.
The big difference between the jeep and the Bronco is that you can actually buy a jeep.
Look at the videos of even basic trails. The wrangler does better all the way around, not just extreme rock crawling. The article was pretty accurate in that respect as well. If you are looking for a smooth offroad ride, then yeah the Bronco is the way to go.The Wrangler may be a better extreme rock crawler, but there's more to off-roading than extreme rock crawling.
Aired down to 30psi.
Sounds legit,
MotorTrend…I don't know how it's still a secret that Motor Trend is thinly veiled advertising; bought and paid for.
Still, there exists a possibility that they could write an accurate article. I read this one despite knowing that one of the two manufacturers paid for it. The biased and rushed nature of the hit piece was glaring from the jump. They probably didn't have an air compressor to inflate the tires if they let them any lower than 30 psi, lol.
It was about as useful as a YouTube video that's just a picture montage with VO.
I've done plenty of trails. You shouldnt assume that I rely on videos. The article was accurate. You dont know more than motortrend.I dont rely on videon.... i drove both of them and dome plateau is a decent trail...... the bronco climb everything easy..... just like the jeep and the bronco way more to drive some part of the trail at fast pace with tight corne ...... you rely on video for your information on Bias person .... try noth then you can talk
In this case, it is "paid for" and sometimes Ford pays em and sometimes another manufacturer does. Usually, they're better at hiding it. This one read like it was a one day turnaround to align with or back up Jim Morrison's comments. They could have reached the same conclusions and made it look like there was some semblance of a scientific method used.Curiously, you can go on forums for other vehicles, and if their vehicles do not get the most glowing reviews, the publication doing the review is also "biased" and "paid for". Hmnnnfffffff.
