16.1 avg read out however, you could see the mpg gauge as well

Looks like he’s getting about 16-17mpg real-time on the gauge cruising at 47 mph. But it also bounces around at 20mpg. I think the tell is that the moment he pulls up the read out, he is steady on the throttle and the gauge reads around 16-17 (closer to 16) when he’s going 50

About what I'd expect for a 5000lb+ vehicle on 35's... Anyone hoping to average 20mpg+ with a 2.7 + Sas is going to be disappointed.

Well you should watch the video because it shows actual MPG fluctuating as he’s driving.

If these are the Broncos from the ride-a-longs then I expect that MPG is probably a little low. Those vehicles are idled a lot and are driven on/off road to give people a good ride.

If you're just doing everyday driving on fully inflated tires, I'd expect a couple mpgs higher.

About as expected (the slightly higher than predicted is offset by the likely 10% or so optimistic computer estimate.) I would expect it to get a real world 19 on the highway if you keep the speed below 70.

Yeah it says avg.... So if it gets 16 avg Offroading and being hammered on, the 20+ for normal driving is easily doable.

I just hope Ford has an option to show current as a number.

I wasn’t so much focused on the average read out. Because that could be skewed and has so many variables.

Looks like he’s getting about 16-17mpg real-time on the gauge cruising at 47 mph. But it also bounces around at 20mpg. I think the tell is that the moment he pulls up the read out, he is steady on the throttle the gauge reads around 16-17 (closer to 16) when he’s going 50

here, so you don't have to watch stupid video!

Face palm. You need to watch the MPG gauge while he’s driving as well

I don't think that short of a distance will give us a solid idea of the Bronco mpg's. But, it is more than we have seen up until now.

Anyone expecting more than 17MPG combined isn’t going to be happy

It’s a soda machine on 35” wheels with a 6cyl.! It’s not getting better than 17mpg unless you don’t drive it, period. All of you stating 20 is doable, maybe for a few minutes at a time, not over a week or a month.

OP here

Yeah this is pretty spot on with my expectations. My post wasn’t for the purposes of “omg I can’t believe it” but rather some affirmation
