Is everyone going to cancel their reservation? Please do so over the low MPG, so I can move up. I don’t think we are looking at a truck that’s going to get fantastic gas mileage. Can we move on now?

It sucks when reality kicks you in the balls! 16/22 with a 19-20 average is what I was expecting.

This truck has 35" tires and 4.7 gearing. It was never going to be an economy car. My Yukon Denali XL with AWD gets around 11 in the city and 16-17 on the highway. I mostly drive around in my beater Tacoma because I'm usually alone and it gets almost 20 in the city. The Bronco isn't too far off that.

I've seen that over 18 in one of these videos
Ya who knows. This was a pre production at a Ford event I attended with the 2.7 Sasquatch. I expect 16-20 somewhere between those for that

they will probably use the base with small ass tires for EPA. No way they’re throwing the Sasquatch with 35inches of rolling mass and extra weight as part of the equation if they can help it
EPA testing is very specific, specific simulation, no A/C etc. All the manufacturers build the programming to the EPA test, one of the reasons vehicles often don’t meet the rating.

I always mention it, I have had two 2.7 F150s . Both with 32”!tires, 3.55/3.73 gears about the same weight as the Bronco. Both averaged 19-20 mpg. My current F150 is now fully broken in and got 22.6 on my highway trip this week (about 500 miles) averaging 75mph. Bronco won’t meet this, it does not have all the aero “tricks” like the air dam and underbody tray and the tires are not as efficient as the Michelin Primacy 285/70/18 tires. 20 HWy, 18 Combined is realistic for the 32/33” tires, 18/19 highway, 15/16 combined for the SQ, based on my experience. Add 10% for 2.3. My son has an FX4 Ranger and it consistently gets 10-12% better mileage when we drive the same loop.

That’s what the test drivers that have driven these all over the country have been saying. 15-18 is what they will get. Preproduction or not, they won’t change much. Also, once you feel those boosty boi(s) hit, you’ll want to be on that boost.

Exactly and not to mention the gearing for the Sasquatch as well. 15-18 is realistic. Which I’m fine with. Gotta pay to play 😎

What are your thoughts??

Not concerned. It’s not going to get 40mpg and I have no idea how it was driven. I didn’t order one for the mpg and I could care less what it is.
