Over 1.5k miles I am averaging 20.7mpg
  • 4X4 Crew Cab (FX4, so no air dam)
  • 50% Highway / 50% City Stop and Go
  • I cruise on the highway at 63-65mph (cruise control)
  • I don't hit it hard off the line and gradually accelerate to speed.
  • I've used 4X4 H only once, but it was for a good hour and half during a commute home in a snow storm.
  • My current tank I'm averaging 22.4mpg.

They must be driving that thing hard to get that mileage.

I suspect the gas mileage will improve based off the Ecoboost results in my 2017 Fusion (purchased mid 2016). Seems to be picking up .5 mpg every 10k miles. Started out averaging 25 MPG mixed driving, at 60k I am now averaging 28 MPG mixed driving. Other than the wastegate rattling I have not had one problem with the Fusion. Granted I do not have Sync 3, so no audio gremlins.

I've got a little over 1100 miles, and I'm getting 19-20 with mostly city stop and go traffic with stop/start turned off.

if shit hits the fan and they end up being sued. I think we can be expecting a check in the mail down the road.

C&D tends to get lower mileage in everything they test. Their highway test is done at 75mph so the truck would be lucky to break 20mpg at that speed.

Don't worry about published numbers. I'm willing to bet if you took a leisurely trip and kept it around 60-65mph with no shenanigans you'll probably see 25-27mpg without too much effort. I got dang close to 24mpg in a 4.7 Dakota from Atlanta to New Orleans once. Took a LOT of restraint. Most of the fuel economy is in your foot.

I don’t have a 4x4, but I’m getting about 23 mpg in mostly city driving. I’ll admit I’m an old fart and drive conservatively but I only have about 300 miles on my Lariat.

I did an all hwy trip and set cruise at 70 and got 22.9 mpgs. I’m averaging between 17-20 mpgs city/hwy. I’m pretty damn happy so far.
