To be fair, this time, my dealer was right that there is no MT 4 door sas base and Ford's communications director was wrong.

This really makes the 4 door MT/SAS a poor choice when compared to a 2 door the MT/SAS Base. You can get it with the 2 door Base at $35,090 + destination and you have to go to a 4 door Big Bend for MT/SAS at $41,920 + destination. That is a $6,830 price difference. BTW a Base 4 door Auto SAS 2.3 is $39,240 and 2.7 is $41,135 (+ destination on each) - still a better value than a 4 door MT/SAS. Sorry I am obsessing on this - I really wanted the Base 4door MT/SAS.

What's their reasoning on forced 10AT for base 4 door? When you can get a 7MT base 2 door?
