I daily drive my manual EcoBoost Mustang, in Michigan. Somehow I've been able to keep it out of the ditch for five years, even when I turn the TC off to have a little fun. It's either impossible or it requires... ugh what's the word for it... skill? Nah, that doesn't sound right. Must be impossible. Both of my manual turbodiesel vehicles work perfectly fine on slippery surfaces. You can't build a turbo motor to produce predictable low end or torque values as high, the 2.3 torque curve is vertical from 2500 to 3000, try to control that on a slippery surface.
