Finally, a fix! One of mine has been doing this quite a bit lately.

About time! Now just hoping they can fix the shaking/wobbling when driving or opening the door 🤞

I'm hoping this isn't the only window fix they mentioned would be coming in Q3
I just got the wobbling on driver side rear. Tried it again and it didn’t happen. 24 OBX, 2800 miles.

I was hoping this was the change that dropped the windows automatically when you unlock the doors. Oh well.

When I went to the dealer last, I asked them to update the system, but that update didn't show as available for mine.

Yeah, or how about a fix for a cracked window. Every bump has me looking side-eyed at the window hoping it doesn't break.

I am not sure what this patch is supposed to fix.
I think it fixes the issue that would happen when you're just trying to close your window and it thinks that it hit something so it opens all the way. It doesn't allow you to fully close your window when it happens and you have to do a window reset or restart the bronco to fix it.

This was available for a while but they stopped doing it a few months ago because it was causing some other issues. I heard another fix is expected Q3 though

When I can open my windows when I drive, or I don't have to reset them because the auto down when opening the door doesn't work, let me know. I have never experienced the issue noted in the fix.

I briefly had that issue with the auto down after pulling the battery with the door ajar. I found that going through the instructions for removing the door (unplugging the connector etc) and doing the up down relearn fixed the issue.

I have mine set to auto update - so, question... will it still notify you when it does update, I haven't seen one yet and honestly never check

When I took my Bronco to the dealer for this a few months ago they said the system shows an engineering fix coming Q4'24

That's funny I did not get the window update but I got the audio update. Which if anything pulled bass from my sub and made it worse.
