Even if it was a SAS you'd be fine. The thicker/wider tires kind of act as a barrier in place of the crash bar so the difference in an accident isn't that significant. Plus, the crash bars only offer protection from a specific type of crash/angle (cars/tires intruding into the cabin from the wheel well) so the chance of that happening is also pretty low.Well now I'm glad mine isn't a SAS.
Suppose it depends on what you do with it?SAS owners have more fun
I haven't wrecked on the street in 43 years, I was just joking.Even if it was a SAS you'd be fine. "SAS owners do it without protection!"Well now I'm glad mine isn't a SAS.
Ok, I'm with others here in that I can't seem to find anywhere if mine has updated and if so when/what? I have auto-updates on but the stupid FordPass app now doesn't tell you crap.
I went in the vehicle settings and checked and all it says is it's all good, no updates at this time. Can't seem to find anywhere that tells me last update and what version it's running.
I'll admit to being and engineer that still occasionally has challenges with programmable remotes... but it would seem to me to be relatively important to be able to tell if you're "smart" vehicle is staying, well, "smart"
Not intending to derail, just bitching
I'm guessing that Ford's answer to the buzzing and rattling that some owners complained about from the sub is being fixed by neutering the bass response! That's funny I did not get the window update but I got the audio update. Which if anything pulled bass from my sub and made it worse.
The “fix” gives you the problem you never had.Right? "Fixing" a problem I don't have, oh joy. What's the worst that could happen?
Sync Settings -> software updates -> update detailsOk, I'm with others here in that I can't seem to find anywhere if mine has updated and if so when/what? I have auto-updates on but the stupid FordPass app now doesn't tell you crap.

stop watching those youtube videos based on game physics!Their test was a bronco base model with no options. Sasquatch broncos have no crash bars. See accidents of vehicles without crash bars for no bueno
Probably trying to match Tesla's "cigar cutter" feature they built in to the cybertruck's windows. I mean you just never know when you might have dropped your cutter in the wild or even have a buddy who needs a finger amputated, STAT!• Your vehicle's window system now better distinguishes between real obstructions and noise, reducing false bounce.
does the world really need this fidelity. It’s a freaking window. They used to just roll up and down.
