Hello:

Just received my sas badlands with the factory removable hoop steps. I see all kinds of options for the rock rails and standard steps mud flaps, but do we have any confirmation on what mud flaps will fit the best with the removable hoop steps rail?

thanks!

You mean the rock rails? Most of them work with them. I have the Mabetts.

Might be best to post a picture of your Bronco to ensure you’re getting the correct info.

I didn’t realize those replace the rock rails.

Lots of posts and threads on this. Search around.
Consider whether you expect to do serious offroading. If so, you'll remove the OEM hoop steps, cause they'll get damaged, maybe break off (don't want more trail debris, do we?). If you expect to stay on pavement and national park grade dirt roads, then the Mabbets would do--they're rigid and will snap off.

If you traverse obstacles and go rock crawling (you just might, once you see what the Bronco can do), you'll want flexible or removable. I have the RokBlokz, and like them. A bit of flex, and removable for more serious offroading.

@Fordified1 They don't replace the rock rails. Like the iAG hoop steps or full-length step*, they come off for navigating obstacles.

*I have this on my BadlandsSAS.

According to the description from Ford above, they replace the rock rails and the different rail will not support the weight of the vehicle.

I have the rock rails with aftermarket removable steps.

Mud Flaps do not interfere in any way with the hoop steps but can interfere with the rock rail so be aware of that fact. The only thing you need to be concerned about when ordering Mud Flaps is Sasquatch or Non-Sasquatch because of the width of the removable fender flare.

I have the IAG mud flaps on my BadSas with hoop steps. Installs easy and are removable if your going to wheel it.

You'll like 'em. Keep the factory rock rails on (they're rugged) and you can take the iAGs off if you decide to go aggressive. Had 'em for almost two years, and now I can remove and reinstall them in 10-15 minutes.
