Very cool indeed. Always love to see unique modified builds. Nice work.

Has anyone done this to a 4-door Bronco - make a longer wheelbase 2-door Bronco pickup with the bed extending all the way to the front row by welding the rear doors shut, and removing the C and D pillars?

I like it.

Would love details.

How did you fab that targa bar? Just chop the stock rear section and attach a piece of plexi? I’ll assume it is not removable since the side roll bars appear to come through it.

Who did your tonneau cover and what is it made of?

Not that I’m aware of but would like to see it done.

The 2-door has longer doors so more suitable for a 2-seater I feel, as on a 4-door your shoulders are at or slightly behind the B-pillars.

Yeah, a quick photo-shop job on a 4-door bronco - I think you’d have to do the extra modification work and swap in a 2-door’s front doors to make it look good:

Yeah. I also tried it with an extra modification of adding the 2-door‘s front doors to a 4-door pickup conversion:

It is better, but I still think the stubby 2-Door conversion to pickup like @BigMeatsBronco and @larry ford rigs look better. It’s not entirely a fair comparison with only a 2D photoshop to judge it.

Now try moving the rear axle and wheelwells forward about halfway between the door and the rear bumper.

Looks cleaner than the last guy that did it - but, seriously, this is all the detail you are giving on how you sealed off the cab?!

yeah the proportions are very wrong with the short rear overhang.

OK, here’s the 4-door converted to pickup + 2-door’s doors added + moving the rear axle forward to the middle of the bed. Definitely better:

However, moving the rear axle forward would be a lot of modification work. It would probably be easier to just extent the rear end body overhang instead so it is more balanced. Here is the 4-door converted to pickup + 2-door’s doors added + extending the rear overhang (unmodified 4DR’s wheelbase):

It just needs 37’s ;)

*OP - sorry for the hijack
