What does it mean

It means that your dealer submitted your order to Ford and they are letting you know that they received it. It would be nice if they updated my ford.com account to actually show the new build and the date it was submitted instead of showing my original order from February. I've changed it three times now.

How long from the order being placed did the email come in? When I placed the original order the email notifying me that my order was placed came in within minutes. I updated my order for a 2022 this AM at my dealer, and nothing has come through yet.

I'm in the same boat here... converted by 2021 order into a 2022 order last night at the dealer, but haven't received any emails from Ford like I did when the 2021 order was submitted. My order date also hasn't changed on the Order page.

I updated from 21 to 22 last week, and have no email either

I'm convinced some dealers update the order but never hit submit to enter them in the system. They wait and submit later. Not sure if they are gaming the timing of orders or what.

I just received this email, but haven’t had any communication with my dealer. My original order couldn’t be filled because of options changes, so that’s interesting.

21 converted to 22. Asked my dealer for total/invoice and he sent over my order in list format with MSRP etc. I did not get the email you are showing from Ford. On Ford.com as some have stated in another post has been updated to say 2022 order, but the wrong vehicle. I am not worried about it.

So my dealer said they were waiting on Ford to give the green light ( that email ) to submit my order. He had me send in my new build last week so idk

I've had the same issue. I've brought it up with my dealer and they keep telling me it is updated but I haven't gotten any emails to confirm this.

any thoughts?

I ordered Saturday, Got that Ford email this morning. My Ford.com account is still not updated.
