My 2022 to 2023 order confirmation, and emails.

First email from Ford since January. Looks like they state in the email that my order is "one of the early 2023 orders" which would be consistent with what I've come to expect about this process based on what I've heard on this forum.
My sales person reached out to me by email and requested a copy of my DL, along with a PDF of my order to review and sign. I noticed the upfitter switches had been removed or forgotten, so I had them added back to the order.
2022 order holders, Be advised, you should thoroughly check through your 2023 order confirmation and make sure it's not missing anything.

Whatever, just make sure you guys are all looking over your order and making sure nothing was removed or changed.

I certainly hope you are still not waiting on Ford to tell you what to do next. If you don't have a VIN your order has been rolled over.

Is your salesperson on the ball? I see mine almost daily anyway because I've got a fleet job, but maybe go pay them a quick visit without being too annoying lol I try not to bother my girl at the dealer too much but I just asked the question on friday, and now monday my order is apparently on the right track again.

The emails go out almost instantaneously when your dealer officially orders your 2023.

If you haven't gotten an email, your dealer probably hasn't placed your new order yet.

When I originally ordered I received an email within an hour from Ford, congrats on the order. When I updated my order today I received the same email as the OP within an hour. I never received any other emails in between (model year push, etc). If you received an email when you originally ordered, you should get one when its been updated for MY23. If you don't, perhaps the order isn't in yet. Remember to check your spam/junk..
