Debating if it’s worth going through with my 22 two weeks before 2023.

would Be smarter to buy a 2023 for msrp off someone’s lot if possible.

Oxnard Ford sold 6 broncos for msrp this weekend off their lot.

I think msrp is going to be the new norm as more and more of these hit the streets and interest rates are up.

please advise your Thoughts.

Do you have price protection?

Besides the fact that I've never seen a Base on a lot, I'd rather have an MY22 for $2000 or $2800 under MSRP than a 23 for MSRP. Plus the MSRP on the 23 went up another $1000 I think.

The reason for this being that you think a MY22 suddenly develops a years' worth of depreciation two weeks later because MY23 is the current model year and the MY22 is last year's vehicle?

It seems to me that if one is trying to win when it comes to vehicle depreciation, there aren't any real winners. The car markets have been awfully crazy which created anomalies, but it will normalize.

I am not sure where a dealer found six units to sell that weren't orders, but if you want, you can play that game. MY23 MSRP will be higher and no telling when you will find one with a build you want that is MSRP.

I personally would take what I ordered, but to each their own.

$2000 was the mid-year price increase. If you ordered before the price increase, then you are supposed to pay the price when you ordered, not the new sticker price when delivered.

That's for a Base 2-door. If you have a 4-door on order the price increase was less. I think $1750

I'd also rather have exactly what I ordered vs. what you may (or may not) find on a dealership lot. Even if it's just one or two small things missing, you'll regret it or pay much more to add them after the fact. Not worth it, IMO.

Current MSRP for a MY23 4-door 2.7, AT, Hard top is $40,630

Late MY22 Price should have been 39,535
Early MY 22 Price should have been 37,785

So your sticker should say 39,535 and you should pay 37,785. Or said another way, you are supposed to pay $1750 below what the sticker says

Window sticker says $39,740. I have aux switches and floor liners. This includes the $1595 destination fee. So you’re saying I should get $1750 off of that??

If you ordered a year ago, and didn't make any major changes, then yes.
