 (y) Excellent!

I have ordered a 2 Door Base in AMB as well, but 2.7L Auto (auto for those in the house that are too lazy to learn how to drive stick).

Great to see what the my color choice looks like; thanks.
I left a similar comment under the videos youtube page.
Something about seeing my identicle build in action is soo cool!!!

AMB, 2.3 7spd, baseBase etc etc

Thanks Pancho!!!

I am keeping these wheels at least temporarily. Got some advice on wheels for perhaps winter use. We shall see.
I've been looking at winter tires for the factory wheels a little bit.

IF .. I do upsize before winter, assuming I get this (currently built) rig before snowfall, I'll probably see how those AT's work for the first winter before deciding to spend more.
AT's have worked pretty well for me on my trucks in the past.

Probably going with the Toyo Open Country A/T 3 , they happen to carry the 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake rating, not that it carrys much weight with me..

Looks awesome! Did you take the roof panels off yet?
No roof panels off yet .I have been reading on this forum how some folks are finding major flaws in there hard tops . I really went over my hard top inside and out and I couldnt find nothing wrong

Part of me hates the base steelies and tires because Ford has conditioned me to love the Sasquatch look...

... But the other part of me can't help but appreciate it, something about a 2-door base with the steelies that I'm in love with. It looks so utilitarian and I fully respect anybody that goes with it.

Thanks for the video, it looks like you and your daughter have a great relationship!

Got any pics of the roof? Might serve you well to get a second (hundreds) set of eyes on it. If you don't report issues now, you probably won't be able to get a free replacement when ford hands them out like candy!

You were driving so delicately, like you didn't want to get it dirty. Up here in Ontario, we would be hitting those puddles at 80km with a beer in one hand, hockey stick in the other.
Kidding
Was expecting to see the little one behind the wheel going through the gears like a Shelby Cobra.

Congratulations on being the first to give a true base a go. Regards to two and 4 door comments. I myself am a wagon guy. So I'm planning on 4 door.

This is my build except add front bumper and velocity blue. Love the throw back look of the steelies and 30" tires. Keep the videos coming.

Looks great! Thanks for posting. The parks along Edward Hines Drive were the spot to go back in the 60’s for picnics etc.

To be fair:
1. I was 90%+ in crawler gear during the video.
2. It was brand new. I did not want to mess around too much.
3. I am replacing a Mustang convertible. I have to condition myself to not be so afraid.
4. I have a video of her when I first taught her to drive the Mustang 6-speed. I will have to dig that up. She will drive the Bronco eventually. For now, she is happy with the AWD Escape...
