My Bronco arrived at the dealership.... but delivery hold due to airbag recall

But, due to an yesterday's announced airbag recall, I can't have it. To put salt in the wound, there's no time table I'm being given as to when it will be fixed.

This comes on the heels of it being on dirt mountain for 2 months.

Any others having this issue.

The good news is that the airbag situation is much easier to fix, so I dont think you will have much delay.

If it was the controller module, RIP.. but I have yet to see any constraints on airbags.

Not sure how hard the Bronco's dash is to disassemble/reassemble but on my '05 Subaru WRX the Takata recall took less then half a day. Was many months till the new airbag had arrived at the dealer though. Dont know if Ford is having issues with that.

Sorry to hear that. It's like an obstacle course you need to get through, with your Bronco at the end. You've gotten through Dirt Mountain, you're at the air bag recall, the next thing is @HotdogThud throwing wieners at you as you dodge them, and then I think it's the home stretch hopefully.

Mine is an 07/21 blend, i had to go to my dealer today and drive their demo for a while to remember why the hell i'm waiting for so long for this. if other airbag recalls and my normal luck are any indication i won't see it until spring.

Late June build date going to turn out to be a blessing after all.

I’m also a late June build. I heard last month my roof should be replaced in September but nothing since. I’m wondering if all of DM is hung up bc of this. Did you get your build email or any communications about your bronco?
