DAMN, THAT REALLY SUCKS ..............No, they smashed the glass and must have been smart enough to pull themselves in. They used an old hobo blanket to protect themselves from the glass.

So it's just like new?Safelite covered it very nicely until the glass comes in. It's not water tight but it's decent (just got 6 inches of snow so we'll see, haha).
At least it wasn't a soft top and they slashed in that way. That really sucks.
Oh man, that just made me sick to my stomach. I had a small used car lot at my auto shop, I had to stop selling convertibles because the problem became so prevalent.Like my 93 Fox body Mustang....
It has a tight plastic cover on it until the glass comes in.So it's just like new?
It’s an unfortunate fact that… wait…Hate hearing about your troubles.Hopefully you get it back in shape soon and without too much trouble.
Sadly, this is the world we live in today. Crime is acceptable in many places these days.
Can confirm. I live in SF. We mostly just never leave things in our vehicles or keep them totally out of sight, but keeping doors unlocked is indeed another common thing.I had this happen a few years ago. Only thing in it was a suit jacket, which they stole. I still find broken glass.
Cameras might help but people in my area will literally flip off ring cams and steal packages with their face exposed.
Maybe just leave the doors off all the time? People are leaving doors open in San Francisco so they don't have to keep replacing the glass.
What makes it worse is that the only thing they took was my radar detector, which I had stopped using anyway because the speaker didn't work (you'd have to be looking at it).Oh man, that just made me sick to my stomach. Shameless plug from the guy that cleaned the depot out a few months ago...Just heard back from my local Ford Parts dealer, he says the toolkit is only $55, but backordered.
I wonder if it will have the bronco branding like the original.
Bummer. I used to live down concord ave near fresh pond. Not surprised this happened at alewife. I see it hasn't changed much.Cambridge, MA
Alewife MBTA station.
I have no clue what you are talking about. ‘Twas a joke is all. I’m an apolitical 29 year-old..I'm not the one who flagged the post.
But it is surprisingly easy not to talk politics for just a few minutes. Try it! You might like it.
Haha. That's a new one.I tinted every single window, not just for privacy, but to ease the idea of glass cleanup if/when it gets broken into.
