My Bronco Raptor is Built.....however waiting on a chip

Hi all,
My BRaptor was built on 1/20....however it is waiting on a chip....does anyone know how long does it usually take for the chip to be installed?
I'm sure there's not an exact time....but if anyone had experienced the same thing....how long did it take?

Mine was built the same day as yours yet I have not been advised of a chip hold. How did you know yours was being held?

I checked the tracking this morning...and it was "built".......I checked couple of hours later hoping it was shipped.....but it was now back "in production".....which was strange. I then called Ford....and the person told me it was built but on a chip hold..

Not a Braptor, but my chip hold was about 2.5 months last year. Went down the line in April, and was considered Built at the end of June. Chip hold vehicles usually end up with delayed shipping too, so I waited another month after it was considered Built before it Shipped.

Pringles are not chips. They are Potato Crisps. I only know this because there was a big to-do about that a few years back. Had something to do with taxes or something.

Same boat, same dates, built and awaiting shipping then back to in production and I am told a chip delay. God only knows what that actually means.

Also snowing there all this week and next so I assume our Raptors are outside in a lot somewhere testing the abilities of the top seals.

It is "Built" again this morning....awaiting shipping. You should check yours .....they must have gotten the parts to complete them....

My build date was 12/13 and was on chip hold until and shipped on 1/24. Had similar weird status updates all within 48 hours. built — shipped — back to built — back to order confirmed — then shipped. I received the shipped email the second time status updated to shipped.

Does that mean that once you get the “shipped” email the truck is actually shipped? Or can the status still change?
