So I wanted to add a little personality to my sound deadening headliner. With the blue accents on the interior of my 2DR Black Diamond I thought this fabric would be a cool addition.
I originally wanted to create removable panels to make interchangeable headliners that just velcroed to the existing roof-carpet.
I ended up finding a temporary adhesive for fabrics, that after testing, doesn’t leave a residue, even when removing the fabric I’m adding.
I plan of revisiting the interchangeable upholstered panels idea, but so far I am happy with how the first two panels turned out with the adhesive. Will update with more pictures as the project wraps and I get the top reinstalled
HUGE SHOUT OUT TO MY WIFE FOR HER STEADY HAND WITH THE SCISSORS AND ADHESIVE.
