So my cabinets came and I present to you all, my clone of NPS880 rear platform with cabinets. I haven't gotten the piano hinges yet but plan on putting the front hinges on the underside to allow the platform to accordion.

Really great work! This thread was part of my inspiration for this past weekends project.

I ended up leaving the seats in and did a platform. I wanted a level load floor to make it easy to load my photo gear (larger pelican cases) and also something to hide my subwoofer when the top is down (or even with the soft top on). I also like that it can be removed in a few minutes.

still a work in progress:

Quick question - I have washout flooring, and I definitely use it with sand and mud from the beach and mtn biking. This isn't an occasional thing, this is basically 5 times a week I'm loading sandy or muddy gear in the back. I'm removed the passenger rear seat, and I'm likely going to go ahead and remove the other back seat. Has anyone come with something to just cover the exposed areas where the seats bolt that works well and doesn't move?
