Looks great, as does your rig! I have always said if you only had two friends, make it an auto mechanic and a lawyer. I need to mix in an auto body paint shop owner and an upholstery shop owner, LOL.

It is good to have friends in the right places. I have a friend who owns an upholstery shop. We could not find a good white tire cover for my 33” tire. So we made one ourselves. Some white vinyl, a little vinyl self etching paint and a stencil, and boom… a spare tire cover.

Well, smack my bumper and call me a Bronco. That tire cover sure does look good! You pulled off a real professional job!

This looks better than any that Ford has put out or on the market! Well done!

For the camera, did you get some sort of ring to keep it tight around the camera?

Like the tire cover! BTW - I had my top wrapped - and other than the odd sheen I like it. Then a couple years down the road I can pull it and go for a totally new look.
Hey Huxley602,
Before your top got wrapped, did you have to do anything to prep the top first? Curious as I have been considering doing the same thing.

Not sure. I had professionals do it. They consulted their 3M rep to make sure they had the right process. Budget Bronco guy on YouTube did his own - you may want to check that episode! It was 1/3 cost of painting it - I remember THAT! LOL

It was painted at my friends auto body paint shop. It is has been painted for about 7 months now. And is holding up great.
Hey AARDVARK122,

Nice looking rig, by the way, very impressive. I am curious if you can provide any insights into the prep needed to paint your top. I am very keen to change the colour on mine.

I am sorry I do not know the prep that was done before primer and paint. I will have to ask my friend and let you know.

Actually I just punched a hole that was smaller then the camera and stretched it over it.
