I laughed out loud when I saw this thread today.
I picked up my '22 in February.
And I have been wanting a way to turn the fan completely off since then.
It wasn't enough of a problem that I would remember it after a trip or think about looking in the manual later...

I have been turning the fan down to 1 and then toggling the A/C button (which has a nice indicator light). The fan at 1 without the A/C was good 'nuf.

I finally spent some time last week in the Bronco with the engine on and played with all the buttons and dials and finally found that you can press the bottom of the temperature dial to turn the fan on/off.

They have all of those indicator lights on the other buttons in the cluster.
Why not just add one more simple light when they removed the complex chips from the '21s?

🤠
Holy crap, I thought I was the only one! And I was not about to ask on this forum how to turn a damn fan off! They need an additional hero switch for it! 🤪😆😁

Hey! That's it! I'm going to get the fan wired to one of my Aux switches on the overhead console! (y) :D

Yes. Pretty much the way everything else in the world works. Power on, light comes on. Power off, light goes off. Even Ford knows that. They just can't always execute the plan.
Kinda like these then, huh? :)

Why would the fan speed control turn the climate control off?
Quick update, or should I say discovery. The fan speed button that won't go from 1 to 0 and turn the climate control off, will go from 0 to 1 and turn the climate control on. Just an FYI.

That's like turning on your left blinker to turn right. 😂
