My first bona-fide Bronco road trip! Trekking cross-country for the Off-rodeo in Austin

My 13-year-old daughter and I are trekking cross-country for the Off-rodeo in Austin. We are booked for Thursday-Friday, but we began in Middle Tennessee.

The cargo area is downright cavernous with the seats down.

We laid over in Dyersburg with a friend, then off Monday morning. Before we left, my friend made me try out the hill descent assist and trail turn in his yard.

We took two-lanes as much as possible, so we could do this:

We set up camp for the night at Lake Ouachita State Park in Arkansas...just beautiful!

Tomorrow: 8 hours to our AirBnB near Lake LBJ.

My boys are jealous! My oldest is 15 and has done so much with me I wanted to spread the love so-to-speak. My other son is 9 so is too young. My wife is working, so my daughter won by default! It is awesome!

Thats very cool! My wife and I will see you guys tomorrow. We are driving our new bronco up there from a little south of Houston. Can’t wait for the event

My son and I were supposed to do this and trek down to Daytona for a few days. I thought it would be great for him to "learn to drive" in the new Bronco but we all know how that went, lol.
