Just found this bad boy for $800. My dad agreed to go 50/50 on it as our first project car, should be fun! I hardly even know where to start lol, but this thing should turn out pretty sweet!

Nice, what engine are you going to drop in it?
Well my buddy who goes overkill on everything said to drop an LS in it and don’t look back... but if I’m being realistic probably a 4.0 from an early explorer/ranger. It bolts right up to the tranny and is a decent amount more powerful.

Yup. The owner wasn’t sure but I can almost guarantee it was an original AZ truck. I may end up painting it but I’d feel a little bad doing so.

My dad said the same thing about his back in the day. One of the things he liked about the new Bronco is that it has a Mustang engine just like his bronco II did...

Great idea with the 4.0. Should be easy enough if you can make the ECU work. The last Bronco II I had is still in the family and I've thought about restoing it, but buying a new one sounds easier :( . Good luck keep us posted! I think I see a throw out bearing...so...manual? 4 or 5 spd?

Looks like it shouldn’t matter where you start, it needs everything except maybe headlights.
