It's not all that heavy really. My plan is to make a wooden rack at the hight of my bronco with some carpet on top, then I can just lift and slide it on.

I reached out to them and they say the current version will work with the 4 door but when I inquired about the 2 door, here is their reply (I have not had a chance to do any measuring):


Unfortunately, we have not been able to test on the new 2 Door Bronco Hardtop.

From our research online, it looks like there is a roll bar behind the back seats that would impede on the space we need for our lift to work.

There are 2 measurements you should check.

First: The lift will lower to 64.5”, you need that clearance to get the lift into the back of the Jeep.

Second: The top platform is 31.75” wide and 15.75” front to back. This is what touches the ceiling to raise the top.

If you're not sure, make a cardboard cutout 31.75"x15.75" and hold it up to the ceiling, so you can confirm you have the room.

If you have a rear dropdown tailgate you may need to remove it while using the TopLift Pro.

I’m not sure how it would be possible for this to work even with the 4 door. Won’t the rack bump into the rear roll bar when trying to slide it backwards?

My Jeep hardtop bag is a better design for the front panels. It has a styrofoam bottom which is nice because it will stand up on that. Just getting a bag is nice though, I’ll just hang the Bronco one on the wall.

Nice, no way you can do that with my 4 door though. Between the balance and weight I needed my wife and 15 year old.

I did this with my 1984 Bronco when I was 20 years old. Not one of the smartest things I ever did. When I jumped off the tailgate with it on my shoulders I thought there was a 50/50 chance either the roof or I would break on impact. We both made it. I think those roofs were about 120#.

Woohoo! I made a post asking if this was possible a few weeks ago cause i currently do this with my 4 door Wrangler. Happy to know it’s possible when i get my 2 door in 29 years! Thanks for this post!
i replaced my screws in back with hand screws like the ones below for quicker removal which is a big help.
