Seeing a Big Bend, Bronco Sport, Area 51 in the wild yesterday. (I don't have pics so I can't prove it) At a stop light, the first thing i noticed was the grill, it was nice and sets itself apart from the rest. Then it turned and all I could think of was itsa beefed up Subaru. (Note, i like Subaru, just wouldn't own one). Then the Area 51, it looks almost seafoam green to me and I didn't like it at all. (Of course it wasn't one of my top 3 to begin with). I'm glad i am patiently waiting for my Full Size Bronco...

you teased that headline for that story.... My reaction is pretty much the look on my dog's face (see my avatar) 😁

EDIT: Though if you thought it was sea-foam green, are you sure you were looking at Area 51 and not Cactus Gray?

That's what I was thinking. Area 51 doesn't look seafoam green in any light.

I agree with the OP - my local dealer has one on the lot in A51, and it's very meh in 5 PM light, sunny or overcast. . .

It was Area51 for sure...the only word that came to mind was seafoam green maybe not the right crayola description but that's what I thought... p.s. i don't like seafoam green so maybe that's why i thought that...sorry for confusing you. 😁😉

When looking at them side by side, I don't see any seafoam green in the Area 51. Maybe I'd have a different opinion if I saw it alone by something of a darker color.

Ok gotcha. It's not seafoam green (I give), but still I was not impressed with the color. Believe me when I say that i wanted to see it in person and be like "wow, all the photos don't do it justice" but...i wasn't. Just my opinion, thought id share, excited for my Black Diamond, Bronco...it can't come soon enough (I'm a MY22)...

Say whatever you want boys. I'm gonna make my Area 51 cake and eat it too, twice!

Kinda want my Bronco to be a little ugly, a little hard to pin down the color, and not absorbent of the sun nor reflective, but stale. Want it this way because it should take scratches well and not look too bad with a nice coat of dirt, yet will clean up fairly nice,, but not look too cool so it will hopefully be ignored by the sticky fingers set.
